Listening to you both is really interesting because you tell such different stories about your relationship with social media and screens. Claire speaks warmly of social media being one of her longest and most reliable relationships. In terms of regulating it, you remember it being something your parents attempted and about spending time reminiscing and reflecting back on the archives of those early years online. Beth, comma your relationship with social media has turned a little frostier from the sounds of things. We're in awe of someone being able to break this connection, and wonder if you are comfortable sharing some of your thinking around this decision and process  -- we think there are some stories around your decision.

Here's a couple of questions both of you may want to take on:

Are there certain areas, or parts of your lives, you don't put on line or decide not to talk about?
Are there certain people you would rather not allow access to your online world?
If there are people you like to keep out, are there sufficient guards to allow you to do this? ( for eg.  setting up restrictions, privacy settings etc.)

A related question for another blog post would ask you to think about how much commercial and  access your site admits by virtue of simply existing online.

Looking forward to reading your posts soon.
